EASY WAYS TO BOOST YOUR METABOLISM AND ENERGIZE YOUR DAY

Stretch!
By stretching first thing in the morning, you are improving your brain activity and circulation while also increasing your energy levels. Take a few moments when you first wake to stretch and move your body and awaken your mind and get your blood flowing!
Need some suggestions to get you started? Take a deep breath or two as you are in and between position changes.

Lay on the floor or bed and stretch your arms, hands, legs and toes as far as you can. Pull everything in (crunch yourself in), count to five and stretch back out again! Repeat 3-5 times.
Spinal Twist, still laying on the floor, with your knees together, let them fall to one side, while turning your head and arms in the opposite direction. Breathe and Switch sides by slowly turn your legs to the other side.
Standing Stretch - Standing up tall, stretch your arms over your head and reach (go on your tip toes if you can. Bring your arms down and fold at the waist letting your arms sway or fold. Breathe and Repeat
Hydration!
Water hydrates your entire system, which is vital for your cell, tissue and organ regeneration. By keeping your blood at the right consistency, it helps deliver oxygen to your muscles, which immediately boosts your body’s energy.
Try starting your day with a glass of warm lemon water!Adding juice from half a lemon to some warm water promotes digestion and increases the metabolic rate. Lemon juice also provides electrolytes to the body which helps reduce joint and muscle pain. Lemon for the WIN!

Meditation!

Meditation, prayer, gratitude, whatever you practice, start it first thing in the morning to set your mind for the day! Before you pick up your phone or computer, try a little quiet time.
Gratitude journalling is a great way to get your creative and positive juices flowing and a fun way to look back on your month or year to see all the amazing things you have been grateful for.
